Spain Travels | Barcelona- Tarragona- Madrid

I’m so excited to finally cross this trip off my list. This was Kevin and I’s very first time to travel to Europe. We began our trip in Barcelona- stayed there for a few days and headed to Tarragona, which is a small beach town on the East coast a few hours South of Barcelona. From there, we ended our trip spending a few days in Madrid. As much as I enjoyed each city, I’d have to say Tarragona was probably my favorite due to the small crowds and authentic feel. If I had to choose between the larger cities, I’d say Madrid was my favorite and Barcelona was my least favorite (due to the fact that there were SO many tourists). I took my back-up camera (there’s no way I was gonna take my main camera while back packing!) and Kevin took lots of iphone pics, so this post has a mix of both. We took about 1,000 photos, so I tried my best to consolidate! It was fun backpacking and only taking 4 days worth of clothes- we stopped at a laundry mat mid trip to wash clothes. Here’s out trip in a nutshell…
